About The Authors
Diane Wardell, Sue Kagel and Lisa Anselme, the authors/editors, are Registered Nurses as well as Certified Holistic Nurses through the American Holistic Nursing Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC). They are credentialed as Certified Healing Touch Practitioners/Instructors through Healing Beyond Borders (HBB) / Healing Touch International, Inc.(HTI), and have over 60 years of combined expertise.

Lisa Anselme RN, BLS, HN-BC, CHTP/I
Executive Director and Nurse Consultant in Integrative Health Care for Healing Beyond Borders. She has a background in biomedical ethics, pediatrics and transplantation. She lectures, presents workshops and teaches internationally.
Sue Kagel RN, BSN, HNB-BC, CHTP/I
Provides Healing Touch/holistic nursing practice and lectures at Canyon Ranch Health Resort, Tucson, AZ. She co-authored a NIH grant Healing Touch with Stressed Neonates at the University of Arizona, is a Past President of Healing Touch International and has taught internationally.
Diane Wind Wardell PhD, RN, WHNP, AHN-BC, CHTP/I
Professor of Nursing at University of Texas Health Science Center Houston, School of Nursing. She teaches internationally and is a Past President, former Director of Research, and former Chair of Certification for Healing Touch International.
